The Log Cabin Charity in Northfield Avenue, Ealing provides a setting where children and young people with additional needs or disabilities can socialise, grow and have fun. We can provide places for around 65 children and young people aged 5-15 per day, including some children who require 1:1 care.
Children can participate in a wide range of activities (suitable to the age and needs of the children). We also take the children on trips to other local playgrounds, museums, parks, swimming etc.
We have a very big playground with a big climbing structure, a MUGA, sand, water, a fire pit, nature area and picnic area. Inside there are a computer-controlled sensory room, a a soft play room, a games room, an art room, a quiet room and a big multi-use hall. Children take part in a wide variety of activities including sport, group games, gardening, cooking, arts and crafts, role play, music and dance.
All children must be registered in advance (www.logcabin.org.uk) and their places booked. Children who have additional needs are assessed to decide what level of support they will need while at the Log Cabin.
