I offer ‘30 hours childcare for working parents’.

I am Childminder located in Dawdon, Seaham. I demonstrate a good understanding of how to support children's learning and development, using the Early Years Foundation Stage very well to support practice. I make good use of observations to acquire a very sound understanding of individual children's abilities. Planning is flexible and responsive to children's interests. 

Feedback from parents' questionnaires include: 'fabulous service', 'excellent service as always' and 'very happy with service provided'.  

Children and parents are welcomed into a warm, inclusive environment and are acknowledged and valued as individuals. I work closely with parents and forge links with others to meet the children's individual needs. Children make good progress towards early learning goals. All of the above was taken from my most recent Ofsted report when I was graded as 'good'.

I offer the Play and Learn scheme for 2 year olds. I have registered to offer the 30 hours free care for 3 and 4 year olds from September, however, I am only planning to offer the extra 15 hours for 3 and 4 year olds as wrap around care, working in conjunction with the local nursery - Trinity Nursery, Seaham.
