We will be offering ‘30 hours childcare for working parents’ from September 2017.

We are a day nursery located in Chilton, Ferryhill. We also have provision at Brandon Children's Centre. Some staff from Brandon are also in place at Chilton to ensure the consistency of care across both settings and to ensure that standards are kept.

We offer 2 year old funded places.

The 30 hour provision can be used in conjunction with other providers.

How will the early years provision prepare and support my child(ren's) transition to their next educational establishment?

We are connected to Chilton Primary school nursery unit via a door. We have excellent working relationships with their staff and work hard to ensure smooth transitions between the two nurseries.

We arrange regular visits to nursery bbefore children start there and share information with staff. Parents are invited to share in discussions and share their views and concerns with staff well before the transfer date.

We also provide this service for children transferring to other nurseries as far as is possible.
