We offer ‘30 hours childcare for working parents’.

We are a friendly, family run private day nursery located on Meadowfield Industrial Estate, Durham.

Local Offer description

We are fully commited to the equal inclusion of all children.

We recognise each child as an individual, this includes recognising and providing support for any Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND). We strive to ensure that each child in our care, regardless of their background, reach their full potential. We believe it is vitally important that each and every child in our care are an active part of our nursery and that their short term and long term aspirations are as important to us as they are to them.

We fully encourge a positive relationship with all of our parents/carers by including them fully in each aspect of their child's care. We understand that as parents/carers your child's development is very important to you so we will ensure we discuss frequently how your child is progressing. Similarly if you feel you have anything you want to share with us our door is always open.

Our staff are always keen to learn and attend regular training and meetings in a wide range of topics to help us to fully support every child in our care and ensure their experiences in the early years are full of exploring, investigating, discovering and most importantly excitment.

Danielle Harker and Emma Foster, our SEND co-ordinators, attend all regular SENCO meetings ran by the Early Years team at Durham County Council so the nursery and all of its staff have up to date information regarding all things SEND.

We aim to work closely with partner agencies ie Health Visitors, Speech and Language Therapists, Outreach Support amongst others so children who require these services gain a holistic support network.
