Hello and welcome to Little Runners Childminding service.

I’m Helen Boyd and I am a newly 24-hour qualified Childminder in Newton Aycliffe.

This means I can look after 1 child overnight, I’m available during the week and weekends.

I live with my husband Stephen and my friendly bulldog George.

I have completed all mandatory training to become an Ofsted registered childminder. Which included full paediatric first aid, safeguarding and level 2 food and hygiene. I am also a qualified Social Worker and have experience working with children from birth to 18.

I aim to provide a safe, nurturing environment where your child with professional guidance and support have a positive development and growth in a homely setting with heaps of friendliness for children to play through discovery and progress towards their educational goals and future.

My home has several rooms that can be used for play, sensory, physical activities, and quiet time to support their mental health and well-being. I use everyday resources alongside toys and games.

My garden is secure and has plenty of room for children to run around with safety. 

Little Runners Childminding Service Mission Statement: To encourage children to find their passion, this can encourage and achieved within Little runners.

 The Aim of Little Runners is to provide fun sessions for play both indoors and outdoors : with sensory, art/crafts and physical development of core strength, stability and balance associated with wellbeing and happiness and to put that one foot forward towards a healthier and exciting lifestyle.

The activities will be associated with the requirements of Early Foundation Stage and for older children the National Curriculum Key stage 1 and 2.
