We are a Specialist provider of services based in Consett, County Durham, for adults aged 16 years and over who have a diverse range of disabilities.
Based in Consett, we provide:
- Accredited education for age 16 plus
- Day care social activities and community participation
- Posture care/sensory/massage
- Employability skills/voluntary work/social enterprise projects
- Cookery sessions
- Art and crafts (accreditation via Arts Award)
- Woodwork/woodcraft
- Animal therapy
- Drama and music
- Bush Craft and working with nature (accreditation via John Muir Award)
- Sports
- Outdoor activities (including Special Olympics)
- Residential trips
- Gardening working on the allotment
- Working with Beamish Museum, Forestry Commission, Gibside and others
- Leisure activities – bowling, cinema, social evenings
