We work with providers who offer early years education places for children aged 0–5 years. This includes schools, early year’s settings, child minders, children’s centres, and other professionals who work with this age group.

We aim to improve the outcomes for young children who have Special Educational Needs and/or a Disability (SEND).

We do this by:

  • Increasing the confidence, knowledge and skills of everyone working with the child in order to remove barriers to learning.
  • Helping to identify ways of supporting children and their families within their communities.
  • Promoting best practice within early years settings.
  • Working with partners in education, health and care services.
