Dales Supported Accommodation, Home Group – Care and Support
We provide health, wellbeing and practical housing related support and accommodation for young vulnerable people with a view to enabling them to gain the necessary skills for them to get their own tenancy.
We can help you:
- to understand tenancy responsibilities
- to develop independent living skills, such as how to manage money or cook a meal
- with budgeting, accessing debt advice and benefits
- with finding out about and getting in touch with other services in the local community
- to access training, education and employment opportunities
Our young people’s accommodation service based in the Bishop Auckland area offers:
- 24 hour cover
- 10 spaces across two shared buildings for ages 16-25 years
- 2 spaces available in a shared property in Coundon for ages 16-35 years

The main building in Bishop Auckland accepts young people aged between 16 and 25 years. The dispersed properties both in Bishop Auckland and in Coundon accept customers aged between 16 and 35 years.
