You can receive food from the foodbank if you have been given a red foodbank voucher by one of our referrers. These include:

  • Citizens Advice Bureau
  • Jobcentre Plus
  • One Point or Sure Start
  • Housing charities
  • Other local charities
  • Drug and alcohol services
  • Durham County Council Social Care
  • Health visitors
  • The Probation Service


Vouchers can be exchanged at our distribution points in various locations in County Durham.

If you need our help, or you would like to donate or volunteer please visit our website or give us a call.

We offer:

  • emergency food provision (non-perishable food)
  • signposting to other agencies
  • a warm welcome by our volunteers
