We can provide any individual in need with low-cost, affordable items - primarily furniture, but our scope has expanded in recent years to include all types of household items. We now stock a range of new but very competitively priced Whitegoods, Beds and some furniture.

We collect unwanted and reusable furniture items and household goods county wide, free of charge. We take domestic goods particularly washing machines and cookers, also garden tools, pots, pans, bedding and clothes. We distribute these at low cost to those on benefits, low income or in crisis. We test all electrical appliances. 

Our scheme is based in Chilton and operates throughout County Durham.

We require volunteer workers from all backgrounds and have work available for many people. We run an employability, back to work scheme 

We partner with NE First Credit Union and have a collection facility at our Chilton Site.
