Chester-le-Street Heritage Group
Our group is interested in the history of the town and surrounding villages. We undertake a variety of projects. In 2019 we researched Chester-le-Street during the First World War with our Heritage Lottery funded project "Chester Lads (and Lasses) For Ever". From 2020 to 2024 we have revisited our Up and Down the Street Project to record changes in the last twelve years.
