Children's Epilepsy Service
Our epilepsy service covers the County Durham and Darlington NHS Trust area. We work alongside Paediatricians with a special interest in epilepsy and neurologists.
Our aim is to educate families about epilepsy. In partnership with families, we develop care plans for schools and educate schools and nurseries about epilepsy.
We have an open access policy, so any concerns you may have you can contact the Epilepsy Nursing Service in between clinic appointments. Our transition programme starts at age 16 years.
