Ataxia-Telangiectasia Society
We provide information and practical support to everyone living with Ataxia-Telangiectasia. We also arrange transport and accommodation for people attending the specialist clinics.
We offer:
- support and contact between families with a diagnosis of AT
- support for individuals with AT
- information about Ataxia-Telangiectasia (available in several languages)
- a specialist clinic at City Hospital in Nottingham (paediatric) and Papworth Hospital (adults)
- Ataxia-Telangiectasia counsellor
- family support worker
- newsletter
- leaflets
Our activities include:
- yearly meetings for information and peer support
- activity breaks for adults with the condition
- research funding
- supporting families
- providing equipment grants
- an annual family weekend
