We provide information and support about this recessive genetic iron overload disorder and work to raise awareness and encourage research.
We provide advice and support to sufferers.
A handbook and a quarterly newsletter is sent to members and we hold an annual conference.
We have a helpline which enables members to contact each other and share experiences.
Haemochromatosis if identified early can be readily treated and patients can enjoy a normal lifespan and good quality of life.
