Hft
Hft is a national charity providing services for people with learning disabilities and autism. We can provide support from just a couple of hours a week up to 24 hours a day.
At Hft Newcastle we support people with many different types of learning disability and have experience in supporting people with Prader Willi Syndrome, Autism, Williams Syndrome and people with complex needs and/or challenging behaviour.
Our staff teams support people to live the best life possible.
Our range of individually designed services include:
- supported living
- residential care
- day and evening activities
- supported employment
- accessing social events
Our Family Carer Support Service offers free one-to-one support, workshops, courses and events on the Mental Capacity Act, safeguarding and Personal Independence Payments (PIP). We also offer written information for family carers - such as news digests and holiday information guides.
