Diverse Abilities is an independent, not for profit organisation. We are Dorset's disability charity supporting children and adults with profound physical and learning disabilities, and their families. We are committed to providing lifetime partnerships for those that we support. We focus on the positives and aim to give those we support a fantastic life and encouraging future. For children and young people aged 0 to 19 years we run a dedicated special day school, with high level teaching and nursing support ensuring your child gets the education they deserve no matter how complex a disability they may have. A wide range of short term breaks and activities during the weekend, after school and overnight plus practical support in the home and in the local community is also offered.
