Prism Studio Arts

Weekly art sessions for adults with learning disabilities and autism in Carlisle.
Participants join this programme to discover or develop their visual arts skills. They will create work for exhibitions and be given the opportunity to develop their arts practice.
The weekly workshops take a multi art form approach; participants work with professional, experienced artists to learn a range of new visual art skills, including print making, model making, painting, clay work and textiles. The programme is participant led; each person is given the opportunity to direct their own learning.
Workshops run from 9:30am - 3:30pm for 36 weeks every year.
Workshops are based in Prism Arts' studio space in the centre of Carlisle. This is an accessible venue.
Prism Arts believes in art without barriers. They deliver arts programmes that empower people with disabilities to drive their own creative journey and develop as artists, leaders and advocates for change.
