A membership organisation open to anyone resident or working in Camden who is interested in making local radio. Internet-based community radio station currently podcasting, but with a real prospect of live streaming within next 12 months. Records weekly 'Whats on in Camden', fortnightly 'Camden Newscast'. Covers wide range of content including: LGBT, music showcases, drama, local history, social and community, information about local organisations and services. Lots of opportunity to showcase your skills at making features (planning, recording, scripting and editing), doing voice-overs and presenting. A learn by doing approach with opportunities for peer learning and lots of room for innovation. Members from wide range of backgrounds. Also, runs a weekly class in radio sound editing from a radio professional and supported by Westminster Kingsway College.
