Deals with the licensing of houses in multiple occupation (HMOs) and will handle queries about properties that need to be licensed, how to apply for a licence (including problems with the online application form) and the licensing process.
They ask that landlords read through the information on the HMO licensing pages and the related FAQs and guidance before contacting the licensing team as you may well find that you query has already been addressed.
They will also act on information received about HMOs which are unlicensed.
Any complaints about property conditions and disrepair should be directed to the Private Sector Housing Team.
