Childcare Search

Good quality childcare and early education benefits children and gives parents the opportunity to work, study or train for a job.

The wide choice of childcare providers in Calderdale offer different services to suit your family’s needs.  Many have provided information about how they meet children’s additional needs and how they will work in partnership with parents / carers to help all children to fulfil their potential (their 'Local Offer').  Look for the orange flash against a provider’s individual record.

We recommend that you visit at least two or three childcare providers.  Please see our Choosing Childcare checklist or our Childcare Choices Booklet.  If you would like a paper copy please contact us.

Not all registered childcare providers choose to have their full details published here so if you do not find what you are looking for, or if you require additional support finding the right sort of childcare, please contact us.

Ofsted is the legal body responsible for registering and inspecting childcare. They can be contacted on 0300 123 1231.
