Due to the coronavirus i will be closed until september..

I have been a child minder for 18years.i am marriedrwith 2 daughters aged 30 and 34.

I find   it rewarding and look forward to working with children. In my setting we like to do craft work, play indoors and out in the garden with a number of toys.We go out to parks and toddler groups and Whoosh. As part of my EYFS I make scrap books to monitor the child's development. I work with a number of schools mainly fox hill and Wildridings. I have recently updated my courses. My working hours are 8am-6pm Monday to Friday. I had my last inspection in june 2018  which I received the grading of good. My house is two bedroomed with use of the living room, bathroom, play room, garden and sometimes kitchen when we bake. I have  2 friendly dogs  called Bobby and poppy.

House not suitable for wheelchairs.childminder can't help with physical disabilities due to bad back .

If child has learning difficulties I would work with parents to teach the children in the right way.

I would follow the early years curriculum to the best of my knowledge and would go on courses to help .

As yet not had any children with additional needs or learning difficulties.

No experience in this area.


6: How will the setting monitor my child's progress and how will I be involved in this?

I like to work with parents..and together we would discuss the child's progress.you would be able to put your input.

I like to treat every child to the best of my abilities.

Not accessible.

I will write a report for the teacher to tell them where your child has progressed.

We can have a daily diary.I have a complaints book.I have a procedure put in place for ofstead including all the necessary phone numbers.
