Hello, my name is Samantha Aspinall and I offer weekly yoga classes within the Bracknell area.
My classes are designed for everyBODY, regardless of age, gender, ability or experience.
Hatha yoga can be described as a gentle form of yoga, focusing on the alignment of the body through a series of postures called asanas. These asanas are held for around three to five breaths, allowing the body a deep stretch without being overly intense.
The remedial part of the yoga consists of focusing on the increased improvement and flexibility of the body. For people who experience debilitating health issues, yoga can help to ease these conditions through a consistent practice of specially selected asanas.
For those of us fortunate to have no current concerns with our bodies, yoga can help to keep the body in optimal working order.
I am a huge advocate for mental health awareness, and through my own previous struggles, yoga gave me some escapism from the pressures of every day life, allowing me to recharge my batteries and face my challenges with a fresh outlook. Along with the traditional asanas, my class incorporates breathing techniques (pranayama) and relaxation (Savasana) which helps to encourage balance to both the mind and body.
