Help Children to Shine - Dyslexia Support

The 'Help Children to Shine' Dyslexia support workshop runs on a Wednesday evening from 4-5.30pm, at Wildridings Primary School, for students in year 3 to year 6.

The workshops are open to any child in need of some extra support or help with confidence or low self esteem, even if they don't attend Wildridings Primary.

Children work in small groups; one adult with 4 children. They use the Touch Type Read and Spell programme. Other areas covered are maths, spelling, reading and comprehension, along with group activities to raise self esteem.

The group works on a ten week term.  Payment is £100, although occasionally it may be more if there is a longer term.

Parents can contact Sally directly or go through the British Dyslexia Association website to complete a registration form.
